FOUNDER
SEAARRA HETHERINGTON
Seaarra is a Counselor based in Minneapolis. She has been cycling with her children and decided to take on personal journey of riding. Though she looked at cycling as just being a hobby, she soon started experiencing many life changing benefits. She discovered that cycling was not only helping her physical goals, but reshaping the way her mindset was. She was healing and growing due to the quality time spent in Mother Nature.
The personal experience was so life changing that she wanted to share with others. Seaarra wants to see more black individuals on the trails as it could also benefit them greatly on their journey throughout life. The long term goal is to have healthier, safer communities and it can start with one cycle at a time.
With her degree in Human Services with a focus in child psychology. Seaarra is able to relate to the people and be of service to the community.
“ It’s a problem that I rarely see people of color on the trails. Sometimes I ride and I don’t see anyone like me at all! This has to change. My plan is to bring awareness to this amazing activity that is not only great for your body, but for your mind and soul. Our community, and our families will benefit greatly from cycling.”

What People Are Saying
“ Seaarra is an inspiring woman who brings so much heart to everything she does. Not only is she an incredible mom and a dedicated community activist, but she also radiates positivity and works tirelessly to get people outdoors. Her bike rides go beyond just spinning; they offer a meditative experience and a chance to connect with nature. I remember one ride where we paused to simply breathe, sit still, and take in the beauty of our surroundings. It was truly special. Sea’s energy is magnetic, and Biking with Baddies is a reflection of her and the empowering affirmations she shares with the women who join. Her impact is growing, and I can’t wait to see where it leads”.

‘I love Biking with Baddies because it inspires me to get out on my bike and into community with other Women! Everyone is very welcoming, and the rides are well organized. Plus, I always discover a beautiful new part of the cities I never would have explored on my own. There is also a focus on education, the group has helped me learn so much about bikes and the larger biking community!”

“I ride with Biking with Baddies for community, trail exploration, self-exploration, miles stamina, and accountability. It's great to bike ride with women that look like me and have similar interests. After one ride there's a connection with at least one person that I may not have met before. I also learn new paths to ride. The group pushes me to ride farther than I would as a solo cyclist and that builds confidence in my cycling abilities.”
