What is smart cycling?
Smart cycling is a bicycle education course that teaches people how to ride safely, confidently, and legally on roads and the trails. It’s taught by certified League of American Bicyclist like myself. Below is what we will cover…

Traffic Safety & Laws – How to ride confidently and legally on streets, follow traffic rules, and communicate with drivers.

Bike Handling Skills – Starting, stopping, turning, scanning, and signaling to stay in control and aware of surroundings.

Basic Maintenance – How to do a pre-ride safety check and fix a flat tire.

Crash Avoidance – How to spot and respond to common road hazards or dangerous situations.

With these skills you can ride smart, feel safer, and have a great time with your friends. Cycling trauma is real and can keep you off the bike rather by choice or physically due to an accident.

We want you on your bike taking up space! Let’s do it the smart way. We need the knowledge to share with others. Making the communities a safe place to bike one cycle at a time. Collectively making good choices.
